Abbotsford Centre is a fully cashless facility, all food and beverage locations exclusively accept cashless forms of payment. Cash can be exchanged for a gift card via Guest Services, located at Section 104, to accommodate guests.
A limited number of accessible seating is available for all events at the Abbotsford Centre in specific locations depending on the event and location of the stage. To purchase accessible seating for any event at the Abbotsford Centre, please visit Ticketmaster.ca and toggle on “Accessibility” under Filters or call the Box Office at 604-743-5026.
Abbotsford Centre is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located in various locations throughout the venue. Designated employees, in addition to our medical services providers, have been properly trained and certified to use the AEDs.
Alcohol and beer will be served at most Abbotsford Centre events to those 19 years and older. It is Abbotsford Centre policy to request government photo identification from any guest appearing 40 years of age or younger.
The BC Government requires two pieces of ID for verification of age.
- An official government-issued ID (including foreign government-issued) with name, picture and birth date, such as a driver’s licence or passport
- A secondary ID that includes name and signature or picture, such as a credit card or student ID
No alcohol will be allowed to be brought in or out of the venue.
Any person appearing to be intoxicated before entering the Abbotsford Centre may be denied entry. Any guest found intoxicated within the venue or causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the venue without a refund.
No alcoholic beverage may leave the venue.
Trained service animals are welcome at Abbotsford Centre to provide assistance to guests. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. The service animal is required to rest in the seating area of the guest, not in the aisle.
It is recommended that guests contact the Abbotsford Centre by phone at 604-743-5000 or via email at info@abbotsfordcanucks.ca in advance of their event to ensure we can appropriately accommodate the needs of the guest and his or her animal. All other animals or pets are prohibited from the Abbotsford Centre.
Baby changing stations are available on all levels of the venue:
- Main Level
- Women’s Washroom located at Section 103
- Family Washroom located at Section 104
- Men’s Washroom located at Section 115
- Lower Level
- Family Washroom located at Section 101
- Suite Level
- Women’s Washroom located in the Lounge
- Family Washroom located near Suite 20

Subject to artist and management approval. Banners and signs will be welcome at Abbotsford Centre as long as it does not disrupt the view or experience of any other fan and the content is tasteful. Banners and signs are subject to search and may be confiscated if messages are inappropriate. Banner poles and sign sticks are not permitted.
Guests who ride their bike to Abbotsford Centre can secure it at several conveniently located bike racks around the venue
- King Road at College Drive
- Near the main entrance on University Way
Abbotsford Centre welcomes all guests to bring their own binoculars to further their enjoyment of their event as long as it does not interfere with the viewing enjoyment of other Abbotsford Centre guests.
Professional cameras are not allowed inside the Abbotsford Centre. The Abbotsford Centre defines a professional camera as “a camera, digital or otherwise, with a detachable/interchangeable lens of any size/type.” The Abbotsford Centre’s camera policy is subject to change for concerts and all other events at the request of the artist/performer/team. This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any electronic recording devices at their discretion.
Devices that are prohibited include:
- iPad’s
- Video cameras/camcorders
- GoPros and audio recording devices
- Selfie sticks
In the rare event that an Abbotsford Centre event is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, please visit www.abbotsfordcentre.ca for more information.
With any disruption to scheduled events, information will be posted on the Abbotsford Centre social media channels, our website, as well as an email to all ticket purchasers of that event.
Ticketmaster will also email ticket purchasers with information on refunds for cancelled events or how to obtain a refund for an event that has been postponed or rescheduled if the ticket holder can not make the new date. In compliance with City Bylaw 1694-2007, the Abbotsford Centre is a smoke-free venue including the use of cannabis and electronic cigarettes (vaping). Please be aware that guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the venue during events.
Children under 24-months of age can access the Abbotsford Centre without a ticket as long as they are able to sit on the ticket holder’s lap and do not obstruct the view or comfort of other Abbotsford Centre guests. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different ticket policy that requires children 24-months and under to have a ticket.
Guests are permitted to wear costumes while attending events at the Abbotsford Centre. However, the costume may not conceal any part of their face while walking through security screening, or when purchasing alcohol. Employees reserve the right to ask anyone to remove their mask at any time during the event.
This policy may be adjusted for specific events. Please check with the Abbotsford Centre before attending your event.
Typically, doors open 1 hour prior to each event. Please be sure to check the event page on our website for the correct time.
There are 3 general entrances for events: the main entrance at Gate 1 is located on the East side of the building on University Way, King Road Entrance at Gate 4 is located on the North side of the building and College Drive Entrance at Gate 7 is located on the South side of the building. Suite and Loge box owners may enter through the Premium Seating Entrance at Gate 2 located to the right of the Main Entrance at Gate 1 on University Way.
Abbotsford Centre is committed to providing guests with the safest and most secure environment. Exiting and re-entering the building will not be permitted. Once a ticketed guest has been scanned, guests cannot exit the building and return during the event. Guests with emergencies will be assisted by the Guest Services Team on a case-by-case basis.
Family restrooms can be found on the concourse across from section 104, on the floor level by section 101 and on our suite level by Suite 20.
Our family section is located at section 103, rows 7-21 and is a non-alcohol section, meaning that alcohol cannot be brought into that section. This policy is in effect at every event we hold here at the Abbotsford Centre. For more questions pertaining to this please call 604-743-5026.
The Guest Services Office is located at section 104 near the main entrance. Please visit our Guest Services office for any and all questions or concerns.
If tickets are lost or stolen you should immediately report them to the Box Office at Abbotsford Centre.
For stolen tickets, a copy of the police report must be presented to pick up replacement tickets. Lost tickets are similar to lost cash.
If the Box Office replaces lost tickets, the tickets will only be available at Will Call on the day of the event by the original purchaser with ID and will be subject to a $5 per ticket reprinting charge.
Lost items during events should be delivered to the Guest Services Office at section 104. Guests may also check the Guest Services Office for lost items.
If you lost an item at an Abbotsford Centre event, please call our Guest Services Department at 604-743-5000 Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm to claim your item.
After 30 days, items may be donated to non-profit charity organizations or disposed of at the discretion of the Guest Services Manager.
Located on the suite level is our premium lounge. Guests with a valid lounge, loge box or suite tickets can access the lounge via the Premium Entrance or the elevators from Section 103 on the concourse level.
For Abbotsford Canucks Games, the premium lounge on the suite level is open. Guests with club seats, loge box or suite tickets can access the lounge on a first come first serve basis respecting the capacity limit of 125 people. Please note that the premium lounge will be offering beverage service only at this time.
For most events, merchandise can be purchased at section 101. A secondary location may be opened at section 112, depending on the event.
For Abbotsford Canucks Games, the Team Store at Section 100 is open.
For the comfort and safety of everyone at the Abbotsford Centre, a list of prohibited items has been established.
Prohibited items include but are not limited to:
– outside food or drink*
– carry bags or backpacks
– bottles or cans, glass and coolers
– containers
– illegal substances, alcohol, drugs and other paraphernalia
– incendiary devices
– weapons of any type, chains, spikes
– strollers
– banner sticks or flag poles
– artificial noise making devices, air horns
– laser pointers
– helium balloons
– audio or video recorders
– iPads
– GoPros
– selfie sticks
– pets other than service animals
– professional cameras (SLR / DSLR)
– items the contents of which cannot be inspected or displayed
– helmets, tents, chairs
– Personal or refillable water bottles are not permitted in the Abbotsford Centre due to security and health issues. Bottled water is available at most concessions with the option to refill after purchase using the water fountain or washroom sinks.

Guests may not bring audio or video recording devices into the Abbotsford Centre. These devices include, but are not limited to:
- Video cameras/camcorders
- GoPros and audio recording devices
This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any electronic recording devices at their discretion.
There are no refunds available for any Abbotsford Centre event, unless otherwise specified by Abbotsford Centre management.
Strollers are not permitted within the seating area of the Abbotsford Centre. Guests have the ability to check their stroller at the Guest Services Office located at section 104. The Abbotsford Centre is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged strollers.
Taxi’s remain on rotation following each event. Taxi drop off and pick up is available at the Northeast side of the building. Please note: due to a limited number of taxi’s that are available in Abbotsford, expect delays in service.

Ticket resellers are not recognized ticket agents of the Abbotsford Centre. Guests purchasing tickets from a private reseller, intentionally or not, risk being refused entry to the Abbotsford Centre. The Abbotsford Centre strongly recommends all guests purchase their tickets from the Envision Financial Box Office, or online at www.ticketmaster.ca to avoid the possibility of counterfeit, stolen, void or invalid tickets.
Ticket scalping is not allowed on the Abbotsford Centre property. Anyone trying to sell tickets on the property will be asked to leave the premises.

Empty plastic water bottles are welcome at Abbotsford Canucks games & events. Please note that any glass or steel bottles and all types of cans are not permitted. Our water bottle policy for concerts and all other events is subject to change; please contact Fan Services at 604.743.5100 or info@abbotsfordcanucks.ca to inquire about specific events.
There is a water fountain located at section 103.
Abbotsford Centre provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests who require additional assistance to and from their seats. Guests can request a wheelchair escort to their seat at the Envision Financial Guest Services Office. Please note that the escort will not remain with a guest during the event, nor will the wheelchair be left with a guest during the event. At the conclusion of the event, an escort will return to the guest’s seat and escort him/her to the most convenient exit gate. Additionally, escorts are available only on Abbotsford Centre property and are not permitted to transport beyond the arena property.
The number of accessible seats may vary by event according to the seating configuration. Please note, the floor is not wheelchair accessible unless otherwise noted.
Shaw provides open WIFI for fans. When visiting, look for the Shaw GO Wifi network.
